Just planning our new Engineers Without Borders UK challenge for Engineering at UWE students today! Working with Digital Engineering Technology & Innovation (DETI) we are planning to #BuildBackBetter for all with UWE Engineering our Future . Educating students on our current global realities and what we can do about them is so important. #SDGs2030

Purchased with pre-uni trainee salary, it has a map marked up with my walk to work @ArupGroup in London and a later map from working in Bristol. It also has A level physics formulae & favourite poems I wrote out to remember

As a student I used a slide rule, then in research a main frame (48k words of memory!). On site I had to use log tables for precise survey calcs. The 41CV marked the transition to personal computing power. I still treasure it and run a simulator on my phone.
