Emory historian @chrissuhhist is having a very successful summer: Stellar reviews and publication of his first book, and also becoming Emory's first winner of a prestigious national award from Institute for Citizens & Scholars for early-career professors ➡️ bit.ly/3O9jVf9

Check out the incredible work put in by undergrads in Mike Mortimer's Emory History spring course: centering the Black and indigenous history of Emory's campuses and creating walking tours of the Atlanta and Oxford College of Emory University campuses based on their research ➡️bit.ly/3JXU9rY

Thank you, African Studies Association, for this recognition. As a non-Anglophone, it means a lot. As a historian who works on pre-20th century Angola, it means even more.
