International debt experts at the UN #FfDForum are clearly calling for debt legislation to be agreed in New York and the UK to compel private creditors to the table in debt relief negotiations - it's an essential ingredient in the recipe of debt justice!

It's hard enough for civil society to meaningfully engage with IFIs that shape the lives of millions: getting past skyhigh travel costs to global North, months of visa restrictions, and in some cases hostile government counterparts. IMF was this really necessary? #civicspace
