Roads in the Burnet area showing no signs of ice as of 8:50 a.m. It is mainly on the trees, fences and some grassy areas.

Rain has mostly stopped in North Austin. Traffic seems to be moving at a normal pace this morning on Mopac near 183. Things are wet, but luckily not icy quite yet. CBS Austin

Checking out the area around Buchanan Lake. Ice remains mainly on the trees. No rain yet, but you can see a thin layer of fog rolling over the water.

A bit of ice accumulation has started on our news car here in Burnet County. While we aren’t seeing any on the road just yet, this is a great reminder to AVOID the roads if you don’t need to be out.

A warming center is currently open at First Methodist Church at 301 E. Graves St. in Burnet. If you or someone you know is need of a hot meal or a warm place to stay, volunteers say stop in. It will stay open for the duration of the freeze. CBS Austin

Very icy conditions heading onto MOPAC from downtown ❄️CBS Austin

Several overpasses in Round Rock including Hesters Crossing and Old Settlers Blvd. are closed due to the ice. Crews are currently deicing at Old Settlers Blvd and I-35. CBS Austin

Roads across Central Texas are still icy this Monday morning ❄️ This has caused school districts, businesses, city and county offices to be closed today. AVOID travel again this morning. A full list of school closures can be found on cbsaustin.com CBS Austin

Watch for icy spots this morning. Travis County Emergency Services has seen more slip-and-fall calls. If you go out, use railings, test wet areas first, and bend your knees if you slip.

Austin PD is responding to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian in South Austin. All lanes Southbound I-35 near Onion Creek Parkway are closed. It’s uncertain when they will reopen. Seek an alternate route and expect delays. CBS Austin

Manor PD lifts a shelter in place issued during a multi-agency search for robbery suspect this morning. Officials say the vehicle involved in the crash is believed to be linked to a separate incident outside of Manor. We have reached out to Manor PD for more info. CBS Austin
