Embassy began with a repurposed luxury tour bus, offering safe shelter and support to those in need. We evolved into a resettlement programme, providing more than just a roof over our residents' heads.

We've developed discreet women’s housing across multiple locations, with small numbers in each home to reduce risk 🏠 embassyvillage.co.uk

Hidden homelessness affects those without stable and secure housing who don’t appear in official stats, often "sofa-surfing" or living in unsuitable conditions such as squats.

As of March 2024, 5,649 households in Greater Manchester are living in temporary accommodation, an alarming 71% increase over the last four years 📈 Factors like rising housing costs, economic instability, and cuts to social services are contributing to this growing issue.

In addition to giving homeless men a place to live, we also help them become self-sufficient by providing them with training and support 🏠 With the help of our amazing Embassy staff, residents receive mentorship and guidance during a rehabilitation course 💼

Substance abuse was only mentioned as a contributing cause by 22% of respondents, highlighting the reality that homelessness trauma exacerbates addiction for many. In fact, homelessness is a major contributing factor to substance abuse.

Today, we’re celebrating Jonathan’s progress! 🎉 Moving into his next rental accommodation and also starting a full-time degree in Mathematics Not too long ago, he was experiencing homelessness, so this achievement speaks volumes about his determination and resilience.

We were honoured to welcome Andy Burnham and the GMCA team to site. Andy was deeply impressed with and proud of the local companies helping make it a reality. THERE’S STILL ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR A FEW MORE COMPANIES!!! 🚨

None of the men and women landing with us have a dentist or GP. Generous local businesses like Love Teeth are helping us bridge the gap of provision for the poor and helping change lives. You guys are inspiring, generous and truly a blessing! 🙏
