We have done an absolute terrible job of improving process as we implement technology. When we strictly chase shiny objects and try to rush projects to “save money” we end up with piss poor customer experience and never actually recognize the ROI. And the process repeats.

Implementing software “out of the box” is always a failure because you either deviate from the scope and don’t meet time and budget expectations, or your adoption is in the trash because you didn’t get any feedback from the team on how to make the process better.

So, does my 2000’s pop and rap lyric knowledge burned in my brain count as crystallized knowledge?
