had a fantastic time presenting my PhD research yesterday at #ascb2022! So many great discussions about the role a putative peroxin and methyltransferase may be having in T. brucei. I even had a pigeon stop by for a quick chat.

Got to sneak out if the conference for a very brisk and brief walk down the National Mall. It was great to get some fresh air and explore the capitol!

We are failing our children. Guns are now the leading cause of death for children in the U.S. Michelle and I mourn with the students and families of the Covenant School today.

Today was a special day. I defended my PhD. I’ve never felt more love and support in my entire life. Clemson EPIC is a special place and I’m beyond lucky to have been a small part. I’ll never be able to fully say thank you.
