Our last official event for #BaseballAcrossMN weekend is announcing the MSHSBCA scholarship winners. We had almost 40 applicants and it was incredibly difficult to rank these fine student-athletes. Thank you to all who applied and congratulations to our 12 winners.

I meant to post this last week, but it was a real pleasure to witness members of the 2024-25 Class AA Boys Basketball Champion Albany Boys Basketball Huskies throw out the ceremonial 1st pitch prior to the FOX 9 Town Ball Tour game for the Avon Lakers and StWendelSaints (10-6 ovr, 8-2 Victory League) on Wednesday!

The Avon Lakers beat the St. Stephen St. Stephen Steves 8-1 today as Drew Lieser fanned 12 over 8 solid innings to get the win. Elliott Burnett was 2-4 with a 2-r 2B for the Lakers. Lucas Greenlun 1-4 with an rbi 2B for the Steves.

We want to acknowledge our former Huskies who are currently continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Good luck with your sports seasons! #HuskieHoops
