After 23 days in the same room of a hospital, where I kept testing positive for COVID-19 I have been released, and so happy to be clear of the virus. #COVIDー19 #COVID19au

The only good thing about having been away for a while, is coming back to see all those impulse buys. I guess I better get started on my fleet of mini esp32 powered robots controlled from a PI4

Spent my sunday designing and building a heavy duty robot chassis, much stronger than I normally build, once I fit the electronics it will be ready for some rough outdoor testing.

No I am not making small cakes, I am using expanding foam to make the tyres for my robot less swishy under the weight of the heaver chassis, although they did rise like cakes :)

Am happy another old #ThinkPad is usable with #Linux (only has two gig of ram which means #Windows10 is a no-no for sure). Took 16 minutes to install, it’s great to #reuse old tech 🥳

My weekend project moving from breadboard testing to a prototype for my low power remote sensors, designing a pcb would really help reduce the wiring on the back of these.

Very happy to receive my Neil Lambeth Redrobotics boards, I have multiple robots needing these 🙂, with the new MX2 add on boards they are great for multi wheeled robots where you need individual control like mechnum wheels need.

The multi-function LED on Yuri 3's embedded Redboard+ blinking out the wlan IP address and indicating battery voltage is really useful when you're running on battery and switching between usb WiFi dongles. Thanks Neil Lambeth for a great product, and your support. 👍

Such a great use of old hardware Neil, so many places would have just thrown these away. I like the case and way you can store the keyboard inside when not in use. Neil Lambeth

First day of the #PiWars Conference 2021 has been excellent. Big shout out to the gang of four Rob Bricheno Mike Horne @Geeky_Tim and not forgetting David Booth @[email protected] for arranging. Great talks from the speakers, thank you all for taking the time putting them together.
