Year 3 had a great morning working with Mr Bailey to make a Horrible Histories-style green screen television programme all about ‘The Romans’ using DoInk Tweets ‘Green Screen’ app.

Year 3,4 and 5 are taking part in ‘Switched On live assembly 2025: Switched On for Every Journey!’ Learning all about the importance of rail safety. 🛤️🚦🛑 #SwitchedOnforEveryJourney2025

Year 3 were brilliant scientists this morning, carrying out a fair test comparing soil types which they did so carefully and took it extremely seriously!

Year 3 made an excellent Roman army this afternoon. Here they are modelling the ‘wedge’ formation that the Roman’s used in battle.

Year 2 had a marvellous time completing some sampling and data collection as part of their geography learning. It was lovely to be out in the sunshine, finding all sorts of plants and wildlife 🌍☀️

Art day in year 3 is great fun! We have just used the ‘frottage’ technique to make textured pictures.

What a brilliant morning Reception had on our Egg Hunt around Ellington!

Reception and Year 2 teamed up to enjoy the sunshine yesterday afternoon by completing some orienteering! Lots of smiling faces and some very serious competition between groups ☀️🧭

Year 3 were very lucky to have a visit from some ‘Pedestrian Trainers’ today. They taught us some important lessons about road safety, including the four rules of the Green Cross Code.

Sunshine, smiles, and football! Our pupils are making the most of the warmer weather—enjoying their breaks and lunch outdoors and getting stuck into some fantastic games of football. Great to see such energy and teamwork on the field!

Year 5 have enjoyed their story time today in the sun. Plenty of water and rest before adventurous outdoor activities in PE🏋🏽‍♀️☀️📚
