I've heard that the Japanese startup scene is less friendly to young founders than the American, but as motivations go a 1:1.5 exchange rate is pretty incredible...

I went to a Navy Surplus Store and found an old Air&Space magazine. Here are a few of the best, most memorable pages from the 1987 edition 🧵(x/4):

You could do some pretty crazy RL research with this. Any kind of evolutionary system would be fascinating to watch in this environment

Non-invasive is so much safer that it seems far more likely to see widespread adoption. The tech is still rough today, but non-invasive BCIs will ultimately have more staying power than invasive

Had a great time yesterday at the Neurohackathon hosted by Telepathic Technologies, Neurosity, Nik Shevchenko, and AGI House SF. Met some incredible people and saw some really impressive projects. Thank you to the 150 people who showed up and built!

people have happily worked so hard to build stuff for you knowing they would never meet you just hoping that some of the people of the future would continue the quest and build the next branch of the tech tree
