I'll never run a school that promises 0 exclusions or suspensions, & never set a target to reduce them. The aim is safe, secure schools with great behaviour. I hope that the need for exclusions hence reduces but we will never succumb to pressure to artificially lower them.

Exclusions are caused by a child’s behaviour being dangerous, abusive, violent or degrading to others. Schools do not cause exclusions. Most schools would do anything to avoid excluding children.

Hard agree. There is no need for ice-breakers. What a waste of time for everyone. It’s not Karaoke. Get on with it. People who go to deliver PD in a school are robbing their audiences and their clients with this rubbish.
