I had a brilliant time attending The GENOMIT Initiative Mitochondrial Medicine Meeting in beautiful Pisa. It was inspirational hearing of the international collaborative work driving the field forward. Other highlights include copious amounts of pasta and sunset from Pisa Tower.

It's been 1 week since #ResearchDay at St George's! The day included an arrivals and impact session, poster presentations and an awards ceremony. We finished off the day with the Thomas Young lecture delivered by the incredible Sir Paul Nurse.
