Does anyone else feel like Israel bombing Europe while attempting to assassinate Greta Thunberg and a humanitarian aid crew should be bigger news?

Easy. Here are stories of trans women who: -Battled “crossdressing” laws targeting women in suits -Fought Nazis to protect lesbians -Expanded women’s participation in cue sports -Joined other Klamath women in fighting colonizers …and much more. Enjoy! elierlick.com/beforegender

It was illegal for trans women to wear dresses in the US for most of the 1900s. Instead, many took part in house parties where they could discuss gender in private. I colorized this photo from a police raid on one of these parties on Nov 15th, 1927 in LA (📸/ Bancroft Library)

Thanks for joining me in celebrating, Andy! ❤️❤️❤️ Glad to see you supporting trans women in sports. We will keep on winning with help from athletic experts like you. Next up I plan to win a swimming competition with my highly muscular 8-foot wingspan.

Trans women protested topless outside Scottish Parliament this weekend. I love it when trans women hold topless demonstrations. If they're arrested, the state must admit they're women. If they aren't, it shows the glaring contradictions of labeling trans women as legally male.

Before Gender is out in 5 days! It explores lost histories like forgotten queer riots, trans teens accessing hormones in the 1930s, and trans men winning in men's sports. The stories challenge the popular narrative about trans history. Share and preorder: elierlick.com/beforegender

British trans women did it again! I hope this courageous group starts crashing UK politicians' photo ops. If elected officials still refuse to call them women, then they have no grounds to arrest them.

Our friends at YES! Magazine published a short excerpt from Before Gender discussing the story of 1930s transgender teenage brothers Mark and David Ferrow and why we have so much more to learn about trans history. Check it out on their website: yesmagazine.org/body-politics/…

A trans woman was just sentenced to 15 years for defending herself from an attacker. She wanted no part in the fight and witnesses described her actions as self-defense. With right-wing news constantly portraying her as "evil" since the incident the trial was over before it began

Boycotts have been a key form of LGBTQ+ protest for decades. I spoke with YES! Magazine about why corporations aren't accountable to their communities and how boycotts could make a comeback in this era of trans eradication. Check it out: yesmagazine.org/body-politics/…

This Emma G. Fitzsimmons NY Times puff piece about Andrew Cuomo is such a disgrace. How does “sexually harassing and assaulting 13 women” transform into making them “feel uncomfortable”? He was found guilty by both the DOJ and AG.

So it wasn’t an act? He is actually evil? Supporting a bigoted author spending millions to ruin the lives of trans people is very Draco.
