As the #hydrogen hype and "hydrogen-ready" trend in gas infrastructure are picking up pace in Europe, it is important to remember: 🔸H2 is not a transition silver bullet 🔸some sectors really need it unlike others 🔸it is not all green

This is a problem 👇 Hydrogen is not going to be a 1:1 replacement for fossil gas - so not all gas pipelines can be used for hydrogen. Independent, science-based infrastructure planning is needed to make sure hydrogen is deployed where it adds most value.
