The Young Woods community just made huge strides for sustainability—literally! Thanks to their Food Waste Rangers and the Rhode Island School Recycling Project, students helped divert 8.3 tons of food waste this year—the equivalent weight of an adult elephant and a baby calf.
I am so proud of my Ss and school community for empowering Ss to take action and embrace the RI Recycling Project! Over 600 Ss recycling and composting everyday!!
