Excellent point from a thought provoking thread. I recommend reading all 5 parts. We can apply this thread to any change we need to make in our lives. Find the courage and strength to make the change. Be the person who helps those making the change.

I’m amazed at the percentage of my friends and family who believe they are being religiously discriminated, don’t believe that gender and racial discrimination exists because it’s a political creation.

Recently our ward had a boundary change and some very affluent members joined us. Previously the Young Women’s fundraiser was a car wash. This year it is a bake sale because those members don’t want the girls touching their cars.

Consent is an absolutely necessary component for a relationship or situation to be ethical - but it is not, alone, a sufficient proof that a relationship is being conducted ethically.

Ethics is time-bound. Giving a partner a compliment 6 weeks after their achievement means little. Admitting fault only once you have been found out, means little. The distance from the moment and the appropriate action taken means something. Integrity has a moment.
