Baltimore would benefit from creating a Deputy Mayor for Transportation position. Someone who has a clear vision for centering the equitable and just movement of people throughout the city while enforcing the Complete Streets Law. Our transportation system is a network after all

This level of support should draw the interests of Governors County Executives Mayors City & County Councils State Delegates State Senators etc. etc. etc. For a large segment of the electorate, housing is their number one issue. YIMBYs are there to help.

Boston. But also Detroit, Philadelphia, Providence, Milwaukee, New Orleans. Each has built more separated bike lane and trail mileage in a single year than we have in almost ten.

.Kamala Harris: “The true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up.” We’re done with the anger, the chaos, the bullshit. Harris and Walz are here to bring the change we’ve all been waiting for—because this time, it’s about pushing America to be its best

every day there’s new data or studies proving that the YIMBYs are right and building more housing is the best way to lower rents

BREAKING: Workers at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor have walked off the job and onto the picket line. We refuse to accept wages that can’t support our families. It’s insulting. And it ends now.

Twice in the last week I’ve had constituents bring me issues where trespass towing companies were charging in excess of what’s legally allowed. If you are being charged more than $280 for being towed from private property, they are breaking the law.

Baltimore workers are fighting for our economic lives and the respect we deserve. It’s why we want on strike yesterday at the Hilton Inner Harbor.

Anybody who thinks 14 people is too many to represent an entire city of nearly 600,000 people is just goofy. We have single-issue boards and commissions that are bigger. To think 14 is too many to address basically every aspect of the City? Unbased.

Ryan Dorsey (@electryandorsey) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Seriously, if you’re out there breaking this down into 1:41,000 and comparing that to other counties (to say nothing of how different we are from them), please stop and reevaluate your perspective. 14 is NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE to represent 570,000 people’s everyday needs.

I think in Baltimore City we should build all types of housing but I honestly think this is the way forward for us as a city. We need Ryan Dorsey Abundant Housing Act to pass when the new council is seated. Single stair reform is a game changer.
