One picture is worth a thousand words this image summarizes the failure of the Biya regime to resolve the Anglophone Question. The wife of the colonial proconsul marches in military gear while the other women are unprotected nobodies! Talk about tone deaf!

Just watched CBS News with O'Donnell. Definitely not CBS of Walter Cronkite & Dan Rather. All gloom & doom all the time. Number who recovered from Covid 19 never mentioned. White House reporter no longer reporting. Just nitpicking contradictions between Trump & Fauci. Disservice.

I have been a DC resident for years and can tell you when our city was the most out-of-control. 1) BLM George Floyd protests. Nothing compares. Our city was genuinely under violent siege for weeks. 2) Brett Kavanaugh hearings—they stormed the Capitol for days.

Got taste of Scandinavian "paradise" recently. Booked flight: Lubbock, Texas to Trondheim, Norway for conference. American Airlines delayed & cancelled flights to Dallas, London, & Oslo. Arrived day late. Met rude Norwegian workers who had no clue of customer service. 1/2.

Norwegian trip 2/3: Rude @Norwegian workers made us buy new tkt. Spent night in Oslo. Took Flytoget AS train to downtown. On return to airport, train stopped in central station for an hour, announced trip to airport cancelled. Mad dash by passengers to get taxis. Third World scene!

Norwegian trip 3/4: Rushed out of Oslo Central station, ran a half mile, intercepted taxi driven by Somali immigrant. Drove the 40 or so km to chaotic airport. Checked our bags, gates changed several times, missed flight. Rude Norwegian agent asked us to buy another ticked.

Norwegian trip 4/5: Took an hour to retrieve our paid luggage from Norwegian . Refused to buy third ticked for same 40 minute flight. Went to train station: We are told only premium seats left on night train to Trondheim $125 each. Train not that spectacular. Arrived 1 am.

Norwegian trip: 5/5: Very cold, icy and snowy. Nice @wrab conference. Excellent breakfast @clariontrondheim. Discovered taxi overcharged us $333 from Oslo Central to airport. Lessons: Norwegians nice people, never fly norwegian. Flytoget AS has Third World moments. Beware taxis.

Scandinavians over reliant on online technologies-also saw that in Helsinki, Finland. People don't talk to each other. QR code is king. When there is a glitch, everything shuts down. Anti-human modernity. Will return to Norway in the summer sometime but not on Norwegian.

Yet another shooting. Complete failure of conflict resolution in America. Are counseling psychology & psychiatry depts still relevant? Universities are now cradles of victimhood & raw emotion. They ban anything that "triggers" students. Easily triggered grads now everywhere!

It was interesting to watch the Republican debate yesterday. I came away with very favorable impressions of Ron DeSantis and @Nikki Haley. It was so refreshing not to have the 10,000 pound, monomaniacal, orange gorilla on that stage.

Most remarkable thing that happened in 2023: diminishment of freedom of speech in Congress & university campuses. Case in point: Field Marshall Idi Amin of Uganda's law being enforced by US politicians Elise Stefanik on presidents of Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), @UPenn & Not Elon Musk

Journalists who crucify Pecker for his "check-book journalism"ignore fact that American journalism is checkbook journalism, the best slanted "news" money can buy. There's a First Amendment right of editorial independence: editors have the right to select which stories to publish.
