My favorite John Aielli memories are as a listener. But I remember in 2013 when Patty Griffin + Robert Plant played KUTX 98.9. Robert asked to meet JOHN! John came in + gently tugged Plant's hair to see if it was "real" (you can see his hair sticking up in this pic). Classic Aielli♥️

No amount of words can capture what John meant to so many people. He was always unapologetically himself and helped us embrace our childlike wonder. He was our inspirational cup of coffee on our morning commute. And above all he was contagiously kind. We’ll miss you, John.
