APOLLO 11 is one of my favorite documentaries ever. I still listen to the score today. It left me frozen with awe in the scope and ability to craft a familiar story in such a new light. Netflix just released APOLLO 13, which takes the same approach and I’m frozen once again.

This is such a wonderful tribute to my father. Thank you Matt Nielsen, MD. Got my own version of it for behind my desk. Let’s all continue to strive for excellence in patient safety however we can contribute to it. I know it would make him proud.

This use of blocking and framing to diminish and minimize Kamala Harris is very deliberate. It’s something most people won’t recognize, but subconsciously it’s doing a lot of work.
