Effie Deans Never a truer word spoken by Effie, but is Farage the kingpin to re-set? I don’t believe so, but between the lines there needs to be a short, sharp shift to the right, too far and then to be moderated over time. We need a correction, whichever lens you have. Change is needed!
Effie Deans The most important thing is for all British people of every background to agree that we must limit migration or else lose what makes Britain attractive to all of us. It doesn’t mean refusing all claims of asylum, nor does it mean stopping all work and study visas.
Effie Deans We can never get all that we want in a politician so mixed feelings are probably par for the course . I have mixed feelings about those two also .
However my feelings are a lot less mixed about Swinney and Starmer .
Effie Deans I too have mixed feelings about Farage. And in thr same way Salmond tread a careful line, his supporters did not. I see some parallels. Another cult of personality is emerging and they never end well.
