Please, #VetoSB5toProtectSchools Gavin Newsom The legislature asks voters to fund school construction, so ask them to go to voters to fund non-school projects as well -- instead of using SB-5 to take funds from disadvantaged schools to fund them. RT educateourstate.org/noonsb5

Please, Gavin Newsom 'Affordable housing is a well-recognized issue. It does not require under-the-table funding from education.' Thank you for putting our children and their futures first. mercurynews.com/2019/10/08/opi…

Please, Gavin Newsom, veto SB-5. Don’t ask the children in our poorest schools (the rich schools’ property taxes won’t be touched) to pay for city problems. Please Jennifer Siebel Newsom

Please The Sacramento Bee @CaCities Stop #SB5 — it takes reliable local $$ from our poorest schools - for 30 years 😩. Affordable housing is a recognized issue that does not need under the table funding from our lowest funded schools. mercurynews.com/2019/10/08/opi…

This is false and shows a complete lack of understanding of school finance. Please Jim Beall stop funding county projects from taxpayer dollars allocated to education. mercurynews.com/2019/10/08/opi…

Thank you Gavin Newsom for putting the interests of the children in the poorest school districts above wealthy special interests. And for understanding that local property taxes allocated to education should go to education. And to you Jennifer Siebel Newsom for your work for children.

SB5 wants to fund housing with property taxes allocated to school districts — but only the poorest districts. The source for housing funds in any bill should not be those stable, reliable funds — property taxes that taxpayers believe are going to their local schools.

Thank you to our Research Director for speaking out against Sb-5 "Housing and infrastructure are high-profile goals – swiping school property tax to fund them is cruel...High-profile issues belong at the ballot box.' mercurynews.com/2019/10/18/let…

Gratitude and kudos to Gavin Newsom for directly investing a total of $6.8B in the housing space — and resisting renewed city and county attempts to force K-12 schoolchildren to fund redevelopment. RT #CABudget #EducateOurState #Transparency #NoOnSB795

Sadly, KQED Forum the organizations at greatest risk of bankruptcy are our schools. Due to gov’t shenanigans, most schools receive very little of their local property taxes, which makes their revenue stream the very unstable general fund. educateourstate.org/funding_divers…

Please Phil Ting California Assembly Republicans CA Assembly Democrats do not defer school funds — our schoolchildren always pay the price! Schools do have the money to be the lender for the state! Defer something else. #StopHurtingSchools

Thank you Gavin Newsom for committing to funding to rectify the learning loss for our most disadvantaged students. (1) Some easy fixes — returning ERAF to our public schools serving our poorest students, putting COLA in as we do for childcare.

Please, Gavin Newsom don’t defer our starving schools. Kids can not afford deferrals. Jennifer Siebel Newsom with parents at the head of our state we are hoping our children’s education stops coming in last.

Late payments to districts with obligations to staff etc that are not flexible mean the poorest districts with little to no reserves pay the highest price. And that cost of borrowing is never repaid. So tragic Gavin Newsom Jennifer Siebel Newsom Parents had hoped for more from you.
