The problem with PEN America is that they CAN express full solidarity & HAVE. They’ve done it before, condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with their whole chest. Palestine is just the blaring exception. You can’t pretend now to be an org above politics. You just can’t!

On its homepage, the The New York Times website currently has four (4) prominently-displayed pieces about American college protests and zero (0) pieces about the nearly 300 bodies (some with their hands and feet bound) found in a mass grave at a hospital in southern Gaza.
