(2/3) Residents affected by the closure can access the neighborhood using 42nd Place. No traffic is able to pass the train crossing on Alt. Route 1 until the tracks and roadway are repaired. CSX is onsite righting the train cars and repairing the tracks.

(3/3) Plastic pellets were spilled from the train cars when they derailed. CSX environmental remediation crews are currently removing the pellets. City staff are in coordination with state & county officials to ensure proper steps are taken to address the environmental concerns.
