Prof. Ron Shamir, former head of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics, was awarded "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Israeli Bioinformatics Society (IBSCB). The prize was presented to Prof. Shamir in the Israeli Bioinformatics Symposium 2024 in Ben Gurion University.
