Nicole visited two great local programs that she’s been working on getting federal funding for: the #StatenIsland YMCA of Greater New York and Eden II Programs. She enjoyed spending time with the kids in summer camp and speaking with families at the Eden II picnic.
For nearly 50 years, Eden II Programs Programs have gone above & beyond to help people with autism achieve their full potential w/ day habilitation services. I’m proud to have helped secure federal funds to expand programs to seniors & provide work opportunities for autistic adults.

Stewart-Cousins My 40 y/o autistic and intellectually disabled son relies on DD providers and staff for a safe home and meaningful activities in his community. His life has narrowed due to provider underfunding and the acute DSP shortage. He has become more depressed and anxious. Please help!
