This is a GREAT thread and affirms that we all grow in our careers. When I started out as a teacher I assumed so many of these had to be true and only through experience did I learn otherwise.

I set a reminder to myself to repost this because I genuinely think so many organizations would benefit from learning how OpenSesame organizes its internal employee training

love this...OpenSesame has no meetings on Monday which makes it SUCH a nice way to ease into the week and start on Tuesday feeling in command of your time

Sister's theory is that this will secure remote work in most of tech bc corporations won't want to emulate such an eccentric and divisive figure. Dad thinks those who wanted to push for RTO will use this to secure their position. Time will tell. nytimes.com/2022/06/01/tec…

One way I've grown since the start of my career has been realizing that working for a mission driven organization at a lower salary is sometimes only possible because of privilege. It is not necessarily indicative of moral superiority. A thought-provoking thread:

👀 As a chronic rule follower and an early career PM, this thread SHOOK me. In real life pursuing this ideal is asymptotic. This is throwing everything into perspective for me this week.

If students leave our schools with a range of deeply developed skills then they are able to do things ChatGPT cannot. They can be creative & curious. They can be problem solvers, critical thinkers & collaborators. The world will be in good hands if we can teach to these goals

The question should be about how effective they are rather than where they work from. That said, it's a red flag for me that they didn't consider the reaction this video might garner. (Personally-- I couldn't work from the pool🤷‍♀️)
