The Department of Economics welcomed Virginia Minni at Institute for Fiscal Studies yesterday to present her paper on meaning at work. Participants enjoyed the novel application of RCTs to multinational firms and engaged in a vibrant discussion of the results.
Yesterday we had our own Cristina Clerici presenting her work on the role of information, expectations and preferences in occupational choices of young men and women in Uganda. Very interesting! She will be on the academic job market this year, so keep an eye on her!
