Garden Club hates weeding, but we LOVE pesto fresh from the garden and many, many raspberries. We ate the pesto so quickly, we forgot to take pictures!! Many thanks to @mrshayELA_sd735 for his help and plant donations today!! We also took advantage of free 7/11 Slurpees!

Another successful MLK Day of Service. 22 middle schoolers, 4 teachers (and three of their kids) and one parent volunteer and in two hours we completed 17 tasks requested by 14 teachers. Big shout out to Ms. Williams for organizing this day! McCracken Library #simplyAmazingSD735

These beautiful crocheted sunflowers were created by Carrie Eccleston’s Knitting & Crochet Club! Pins and magnets are $2; all proceeds will be donated to Ukraine TrustChain. We are so proud of our students who want to make a difference! School District 73.5

After hearing about some School District 73.5 students’ project to raise money for Ukraine, one of the Teen Librarians Skokie Public Library arranged a big order with her colleagues. (Thanks Rachael💜) I keep imagining how our students will feel when they spot their work in the #community.
