Eastlake Garden Club is making the courtyard next to the Media Center pop with the colors of spring!

Principal Powell kicked off our first day of June and first full day of the school year with a pep rally this morning! Music and inspiring words helped to get everybody excited for today!!

What a beautiful day to read outside in our beautiful courtyard! Thank you to the PTA for out wonderful bench/tables and to the Eastlake Garden Club for making the space usable.

What a wonderful Animal Museum our first grade students in Mrs. Brieiten's class hosted this afternoon! After stepping on their "button", the museum came alive, giving facts about the animals the students researched! Joni Benos Sebastian Powell

Eastlake wrapped up our Read Across America Celebration on Friday! We celebrated reading in so many ways including Seuss-a-Switch, Family Reading Night and Drop Everything and Read! Celebrating reading is something we do every day and it was fun having these extra celebrations!

It was a super fun afternoon in PE this afternoon! Ms. Carroll's fourth grade students assisted Mrs. Ismailzadah's Kindergarten class and we aren't sure who had more fun! #teamwork #bekind

Friday's SEL Day was embraced and enjoyed by everyone at Eastlake School! Whether participating in teamwork activities in PE class or contributing to our new Friendship Rock Garden, students and staff all celebrated SEL!
