Preschool enjoyed an amazing fun-filled day at Stonehurst Farm today .

A fantastic start to the year, as we are awarded Gold for our commitment to the development of competition across the school and community.

A great morning in Stone, as we start our second day of activities. The Year 5 and 6 children have had a full breakfast and are now getting read for the day.

A stunning morning. The children now have eaten and now have time to explore, build and relax.

This week our preschoolers having been sharing the story 'The colour Monster' . This story has given the children an opportunity to help them recognize, name, and understand their emotions by associating feelings with specific colours, which supports their emotional development.

This week saw the launch of our exciting new initiative: “Winner, Winner, Eastfield Spinner!” Adults have been handing out tickets to ch who demonstrate our core values of Kindness, Respect, and the spirit of Eastfield Character Counts They then entered our weekly prize draw!

This week preschool have been looking at and talking about all things Autumn. The children have enjoyed sharing the story Leaf Man which led to making our own leaf people and monsters 🍁🍂

Today with our wonderful practitioner Donna, the Preschool children have enjoyed making beautiful art using our Autumn natural resources (conkers and pine cones) 🍂🍂

This week our preschool children have been learning the importance of cleaning and looking after our teeth . We had lots of fun cleaning our large set of preschool teeth 🦷

Our Preschoolers have had a bright and beautiful time celebrating Diwali , the festival of light ✨️ We have made vibrant and colourful rangoli pictures with a variety of mark making tools and materials . We have danced to festive music and listened to heart warming stories .

Our Park Trip! 🌳 We blew bubbles and played with the parachute, lifting it up and making the leaves fly. We climbed up the ladders, over the bridges, and down the slides and we had lots of giggles rolling down the soft, grassy hill. At the end, we had some exciting races 🏁

💥✨ Firework fun in preschool! Our little artists had a blast creating dazzling mark making fireworks using chalks, paints, and even LED writing pads! The room was full of color, sparkle, and excitement as everyone experimented with swirls, dots, and bursts of light. 🎨💫

Little footsteps, big Christmas wishes! 🎄 Our preschoolers loved their Christmas walk and posting letters to Santa today. We sang Christmas songs and pointed out all the festive decorations on show in our community 🎅✉️

From imagination to illustration! Children in Year 6 wrote descriptive narratives based on Letters from the Lighthouse and transformed them into stunning visuals with Copilot. 💡✨
