Today, we host the @Lnydp officials as they present us with the formal invitation for the 2026 London New Year’s Day Parade. While there have been numerous representatives from the U.S., this will be the first time they will receive a representative from our Nation’s Capital!

This week, the Office of the Secretary attended the unveiling of Blue and White Marching Machine Way, home of the Eastern HS Marching Band!! We couldn’t be more proud of Eastern H.S. “Blue & White Marching Machine” as they prepare to represent DC in the 2025 London New Year’s Day Parade!!#WeAreDC

We had a wonderful time at the Capitol Battle of the Bands at UMD on yesterday. We were honored to be the only high school to do a full field show amongst six HBCU bands!
