This summer’s USA teams, in conjunction with Moneyball Sportswear and Cleveland Brothers CAT, have been announced. Alex Jensen of the Dallas Mavericks will lead our Greece team while rising star Mike Williams of the Utah Jazz will be leading our Spain team! Rosters to follow.

USA prepares for this afternoon’s matchup with Tournament host Spain. Tip Off set for 2:15pm EST.

Congratulations to our USA team for beating the Czech Republic and capturing the International Tournament Bronze medal yesterday. Colombia’s Avery Brown hit a late three to seal the victory in Melilla, Spain for the collegiate Americans. The team will return to the US tomorrow.

US RUNS PAST PANERITHRAIKOS USA East Coast found their groove in the team’s opener cruising to an 80-66 victory this evening. Purdue’s Cam Heide led the team in scoring with 14pts, Providence’s Anton Bonke in rebounding with 7, and Cornell’s Nazir Williams in assists with 8.

GREECE EDGES PAST EAST COAST USA East Coast came from behind several times last night but fell to the Greece National Team 86-74. Oklahoma’s Jacolb Cole led the way with 19pts, Purdue’s Will Berg had 15pts and Cam Heide had 10pts, while Providence’s Corey Floyd finished with 13

USA will play a friendly afternoon match today with tip-off set for 4:30 Athens time (9:30am EST). Pic is from the team’s rooftop dinner last night.

ATHENS, GREECE - With Ancient Greece known as the birthplace of democracy, what better location to have two groups agree on an improbable ending…a tie. In USA’s final match in Athens both teams agreed to end the FIBA “friendly” contest with an 86-86 tie.
