These Are the Days of Our Academy 😜🔥 The first week of Eagle Fire Academy is officially in the books—and what a week it was! Our recruits are easing in nicely, trading nerves for knowledge and breaking in those boots one step at a time.

This past Sunday, crews from Eagle Fire Stations 5, 2, and 1 responded to a call for a hiker with a severely sprained ankle in the Hidden Springs foothills. Great teamwork and a job well done by all involved! #EagleFire #eaglefiredepartment #foothillsrescue

It’s R.I.T. Week for our Eagle Fire Recruits! RIT stands for Rapid Intervention Team — a highly trained crew dedicated to rescuing firefighters in distress during an emergency. At Eagle Fire, we train hard so we’re ready for anything.

Happening Now: Eagle Fire crews are on scene of a 20-acre grass fire in the Star Vista area. There are no evacuations at this time. Please avoid the area while firefighters continue operations.

Eagle Fire crews are working to suppress a 100-acre grass fire NW of Beacon Light Rd & Hwy 55. Evacuation orders have been issued for residents between Holl Road & Hwy 55. A reunification site for evacuated residents has been established at 12655 N. Horseshoe Bend Road.

Update 7:40pm Crews have contained the fire N of Beacon light & Hwy 55. Fire crews will remain on location throughout the night to continue mop up & extinguishment. The evacuation alerts sent out for residence have now been removed. Homeowners are welcome back to their properties

Eagle Fire Department is currently conducting Life Flight training at Eagle Nazarene Church. Please be advised this is a scheduled training exercise and not an emergency.
