Jonathan Smith: "The game got out of hand, Aidan got banged up early. We were getting reps to Alessio. We have to have a better pocket."

Jonathan Smith: "Nick Marsh had limitation during the week."

Jonathan Smith: "That had not shown up this week. There were times where the progression held up. Too many snaps where we took rough snaps."

Jonathan Smith: "With the crowd noise, I have to ask point blank to Jim. Without film, I thought the tackle play was okay."

Jonathan Smith: "We have to find a way to play better quality football for 60 minutes."

Jonathan Smith: "Our defensive effort was better than 38 points tonight. We have to find a way at the end."

Jonathan Smith: "Nick Marsh was limited from illness this week."

Jonathan Smith: "We've got some guys this means a ton to. They want to be good teammates, push guys and this team to a better spot."

The post-game press conference from Nebraska sounds like the Cornhuskers found a weakness in MSU’s punt formation for their punt block. “We knew how to get there, he was averaging getting back there in 1.8 seconds.”

Jonathan Smith said no excuses, but the wind made some difference. Dylan Raiola said in his press conference that the wind made zero difference.
