#EWU Police Department has had several reports of vehicle prowls on campus recently. TIP OF THE WEEK: Don't leave valuables in plain sight. Lock vehicle doors. Park in a well-lit or high traffic area. Call 509-359-7676 to report a vehicle prowl or suspicious activity.

Several #EWU parents have received calls from a person posing as an EWU police officer who claims that their child is being arrested and will go to jail unless they send money. Anyone claiming to be affiliated with EWUPD and asking for money is a scammer!

#EWU PD has had several reports of vehicle prowls. Below are some tips for keeping your vehicle safe: Secure your vehicle. Keep valuables out of sight. Stow electronics & accessories. Hide valuables in your trunk before you arrive. Park in a busy, well-lit area. Report break-ins.

We have seen an increase in scam reports. If someone insists on immediate payment or personal information while threatening severe consequences, like arrest or financial loss, it's a scam. Hang up and report suspicious activity to local authorities.
