We do. There are so many responsible network operators are doing everything they can to ensure charging infrastructure is safe and accessible. We have been banging this drum for 2 years now. This is not an excuse to deny site development, this is an opportunity to build better.

Every charge site must be made accessible for everyone. Where it is physically impossible to do so, the public absolutely has to be made aware if the site is inaccessible, so that everyone can make an informed choice on where they plug in. This #ableism is unacceptable.

Calls for all public EV charging sites to have accessible charging mandated are growing louder with Baroness Jenny Randerson backing the likes of ChargeSafe, Motability Foundation and RECHARGE UK in calling for Government action.  transportandenergy.com/2024/03/26/cal… REA

This is so important. Our inspection is influenced by BSI PAS 1899 and goes above and beyond when looking specifically at accessibility measures. It’s important we get this right first time.

The REA are hosting a birthday party for me next week. Except they call it a “conference” and keep suggesting it’s actually all about understanding the EV landscape with expert panels, fresh insights and networking. So who’s coming to my party? 😂💚⚡️ Link below 👇

Another day, another comment piece in the Telegraph that: a) has a pop at EVs b) says stuff about EVs that is pretty misleading This one, by Ross Clark, also says some fairly misleading things about road pricing So here's a thread to correct the narrative - buckle up!

Elon Musk I think the focus actually really needs to be on user safety and accessibility. Now that would be a positive direction for the supercharger network. Currently, it scores as one of the worst ChargeSafe networks in the UK for personal safety and accessibility considerations.
