I går markerte 50 år med EIB-investering i Norge🥳 Gjennom årene har European Investment Bank investert i prosjekter som støtter EUs politiske mål, gjennom ordninger som InvestEU. Støtten har gått til områder som kommunikasjon, energi, bærekraftig transport mm. Les mer 👉eib.org/en/press/all/2…

1. januar overtok Polen formannskapet i Rådet for Den europeiske union🇵🇱 I løpet av de neste seks månedene vil Polen fokusere på: ⬜ forsvar og sikkerhet 🟥 mennesker og grensebeskyttelse ⬜ motstand mot desinformasjon 🟥 næringsfrihet ⬜ energi 🟥 landbruk ⬜ helse

Shocked and deeply saddened by the shooting in Örebro, Sweden. Schools should be safe spaces for learning, not places of violence. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all affected. We stand united with Sweden in this dark moment.

Three years since Russia launched its full-scale war. Three years of Ukrainian heroism. It was an honour for me to receive the flag of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, a witness to Ukrainians’ bravery on the battlefield. The EU will stand with Ukraine and its people, always.

EU delivers: Foreign Ministers just approved the 16th package of sanctions against Russia. It hits everything from shadow fleet ships to gaming controllers used to control drones. We now have the most extensive sanctions ever, weakening Russia’s war effort.

Today I spent a constructive and enriching day in 🇳🇴Hammerfest, together with the Norwegian minister for Fisheries and Ocean, Minister Naess, discussing specific actions to strengthen our relationship in fisheries management and ocean governance. 🧵

Our dialogue continues to further mutual understanding and pave the way for pragmatic solutions. The 🇪🇺 and 🇳🇴are likeminded partners, who share the same values and willingness to develop a wide range of cooperation.
