Today I’m bringing together #HSC and Chief Veterinary Officers, as well as our agencies and international partners, to discuss the latest situation.

Visiting the Clinical Centre of Montenegro 🇲🇪 and patients in its oncology ward is a touching reminder of how pan-European collaboration can guide them in their journey.

The Centre benefits from EU funding and it was a pleasure to discuss with staff our work to address cancer.

I am pleased to meet again with 🇲🇪Health Minister Vojislav Šimun.

It is the first candidate country to sign an association agreement to #EU4Health , showing how far our cooperation has come.

We will continue working together towards better public health for Montenegrin citizens.

EU-Montenegro cooperation on food safety continues to improve on the path to 🇪🇺 accession.

We discussed with 🇲🇪 Agriculture Minister Vladimir Jokovic how we can keep strengthening Montenegro’s food safety standards and working towards preventing the spread of animal diseases.

It was a pleasure to discuss with 🇲🇪 Prime Minister Milojko Spajić our cooperation in the areas of health and food safety.
