Today we disrupted the #SOU2024 to call for a ceasfire and end to genocide. We cannot support an event in which companies complicit in genocide are given a platform. The SOU has no place in our research institution. European University Institute EUI Researchers' Union

Once again the Spanish representative from Ministerio de Universidades is not coming to the High Council. Spanish researchers have to live precariously while their government fails its duties under the EUI convention! #EUIUniquelyUnequal #SpainIsDifferent

Today & Tomorrow are the High Council meetings at European University Institute. We hope the reps of the Member States took our intervention last year to heart & will do their utmost to move towards grant equality and better researcher representation. Show some courage, WE NEED CONVENTION CHANGE!

I attended the General Assembly EUI Researchers' Union this evening - it is really phenomenal to see how far this community has come together in constructive solidarity since I joined it just over eight years ago (when we had no union!)
