Another successful TTX through #IORIS , with the PMPF (Somalia) and EUNAVFOR which simulated a coordinated response concerning a Piracy Active Group (PAG) operating off Puntland Waters Somalia. The TTX was facilitated by A. Lyttle, CRIMARIOII instructor, and EUCAP Somalia.

During his farewell tour, the Head of #EUCAPSOM engaged in discussions with Commander of Operations of Puntland Maritime Police Force and senior officials. Meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in training & capacity building, exchanging maritime intelligence, and addressing piracy concerns

Collaboration with other EU agencies and external partners to share best practices is key. Operation Atalanta is complementary to other EU missions in the Area.
