Czechia has been elected into the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, by 128 voices. I would like to thank Czechia for its long-standing support in multilateral diplomacy. A multipolar world will be to the benefit of nobody.

I am shocked and sad about the sudden passing of our colleague Raffaella Iodice. If EU and Human Rights and girls’ rights have a common name, it is Raffaella. All Afghan women know this very well. My deepest condolences to Raffaella’s family.
