Excitedly starting my year B UCL speech & language therapy lectures today :) I'm already noticing the impact of the #SLT2B webinars - a lot of the module introductions feel like old news, but only because I learnt so much from @MagpieChatter's project!

UCL Language & Cognition Last year UCL SLT students missed out on vital clinical training hours. Right now we still have an autumn weekly adult and paediatric placement shortfall. If you’re a London SLT & can help train our future workforce, pls contact Kirsty Catling directly RCSLTLearn

My pre-lecture dementia definition for Dr Anna Volkmer: Dementia is a progressive neurodegenerative condition leading to a decline in cognitive functioning.

A day full of food for thought! Updates in aphasiology research at #BASRUM21 and reflections on making decisions about working in low and middle income countries at #CTIwebinar! Many thanks to British Aphasiology Society and Comm_n International. Now just need to actually finish my degree... #mySLTday
