This morning have been talking on BBC Radio Solent about #Ventnor and this landslip which has closed Belgrave Road and Esplanade Road below it. Cllr Gary Peace from IOW Council Official has promised fixing it is a priority before the tourist season.

“We don’t know how long it will take to fix but it IS a priority” IOW Council Official talking in #Ventnor after a 30m long 75cm deep crack appears in Belgrave Road. Several properties have been evacuated, roads and footpaths are closed and gas & water mains are being moved.
