A positive shift began with intel gathering, a speed check on Rickstones Road before visiting the Grove Centre, Newlands Precinct & the River Walk. I finished with a speed check on Hatfield Road. Many people complimented my presence & visibility throughout the day. #YouSaidWeDid

Investigative enquiries for an assault before attending ASDA due to group of teenagers in the vicinity, who left on my arrival. Between the rain, wind & hail foot patrols engaging with children in the parks & mobile patrols before attending an intruder alarm in nearby Rivenhall.

Officers apprehended suspects spraying graffiti & to provide reassurance & visibilty we conducted foot patrols through the town centre, the park and the #RiverWalk with many positive interactions. A nearby emergency required our assistance before returning to mobile patrols.

High visibility was the order of the day & we visited several locations identified, following residents talking to us at our Community Beat Surgery or by directly reported to Essex Police. Hopefully our patrols provided reassurance while we investigated any issues. #YouSaidWeDid

The Community Special Constable team at the Easter Trail on the #RiverWalk . We provided prizes, access to our vehicle & dressing up clothes. The children helped match emergency workers to their vehicles in our game before continuing on their trail! Have a safe & Happy Easter!

I increased my visibility in town with extra foot patrols each side of the Community Beat Surgery. Great to speak to lots of parents & children & we discussed topics of speeding & anti-social behaviour for future action. At the end of the day I found time to wash the Police van!
