May mention that the first Superintending Geologist of Geological Survey of India was Thomas Oldham from Trinity College of Dublin who took over the reigns of Survey in 1851. Congratulations.

So many great talks at #EPPC_Dublin today. I spent most of the day at the Bill Chaloner session with fantastic talks but also saw great talks from Charilaos Yiotis Sandy Hetherington & Earth and Environment at Leeds 's Benjamin Mills - so much amazing #palaeobotany work going on! A week doesn't feel long enough!
