Relevant Recent Research: ENICTO Consortium PI Jess Scott (Jess Scott, PhD) contributed to a recent publication in the Journal of Clinical Oncology that found implementing exercise after a cancer diagnosis decreases risk of mortality. Read it here: ascopubs.org/doi/full/10.12…

While the FORCE trial did not find resistance training to impact RDI, results point to other health benefits for cancer survivors, such as increased lean mass among the frail. ENICTO and future trials will continue to test the impact of various exercise modalities on RDI.
