Today is the start of Black History Month! This years theme is "Time for Change: Action Not Words". As a network we will be starting the conversation on how we can recognise the importance of a diverse workforce. Today we ask, what change do you need us to make? Happy #BHM 😀

Today commemorates the birthday of the late great Desmond Tutu, who was a South African archbishop best known for his opposition to apartheid in South Africa, for which he received the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1984. How can we all support one another to challenge discrimination?

We'll be hosting a webinar on Black History Month and Mental Health with Dr. Audrey Allwood on the 19th October between 12:30-1:30. All colleagues within SPFT and across the ICS are welcome to join. Email us at [email protected] for a joining link.

The first network meeting since the relaunch is taking place today between 13:00-14:00. Please feel free to drop in at anytime during the hour, we would love to meet you. If you are unable to make this meeting but would like to get involved with the network, do let us know.
