Hartley Bank Screens by John Burgess is based on the empties yard of a small West Yorkshire colliery and is set in the late 1960s, built to 4mm scale, EM gauge and is DCC operated - and you can see it at the expoEM Summer 25 on 30/31 August📍WF2 7EL 🎟️ £11 on the door #expoEM.

“Orfe Quay” is well worth a look - a harbour wall and water, but avoiding cliches: fishing boats, nets, lobster pots, sou’westers and so on; also no short sidings, instead relying on view blockers and ‘endless' sidings to look as if it’s part of something bigger #expoEM 30/1 Aug

expoEM Summer is this weekend with “Swan Street Goods” set in N Liverpool in the final decade of the 20th century. The track plan and idea was adapted from a design by Iain Rice and was featured in World Of Railways in Nov 1997. Follow link in bio for full details #expoEM
